Event Descriptions / Ideas for you to do on your own or with friends:

• A message for You: We will be walking around campus handing out handwritten letters of encouragement to students. We need volunteers to help write cards and to hand out cards. You can volunteer for either or both. Card writing can be done on your own time. We will have an organized time for Han outs.

• Ride by High 5s: We will be either riding in a pickup truck or golf cart (preferably a gold cart but we need connections to be able to get one, so let us know if you can get us a golf cart) and make rounds across campus giving out high 5s to students. Note that by joining us in this event we are not guaranteeing safety or protection from being stopped by the police. So please join at your own discretion. 

• Understanding Love: This will be a series of events where we table and walk around campus asking students one of the following questions and getting them to write down their answers or be recorded for a Youtube video. 

  • What is Love? 

  • How do you Show it? 

  • Why Should We love? 

  • How do you enjoy receiving Love?

• Encouragement that Sticks: We will be going across campus posting sticky notes with words of encouragement. This will be a planned time event but it is something you can do at any time on your own. 

• Love is an Open Door: We are going to station ourselves in different high traffic locations across campus and open doors for people.
